My Reasons
I've tried writing this section 600 times, but I can never quite get the words out to express what an amazing character Kino is. I started watching the series on a whim, but I was captivated by her from the minute I saw the first episode. She is so strong in every single way.. considering her past, the way she grew into the mature, beautiful person that she did is amazing. I love her traveler's philosophy, I love that she questions the world, I love that she can defend herself when she needs to. I love her for all the times she's strong, and for all the times she's weak as well. Kino is one of the few female characters that I can really respect and admire.Kino's Journey is not very well known, but even then, I knew I had to build a fansite for Kino. If even one other person reads it and becomes interested in Kino or the series, then my job is done.
This project was always upcoming for me, but my kick-in-the-pants came in the form of the girl shrine marathon at Amassment. Even though she lives her life as a male, she is still a remarkable female and I was very glad to finally have the excuse I needed to finish this site.
