Profile
Kino is the main character of Kino's Journey, known in Japan as Kino no Tabi, a series of light novels that were later adapted into an anime. The story features the adventures she has as she travels around to various countries on her talking motorrad (motorcycle), Hermes.
Age: Around 15
Occupation: Traveler
Weapon: Persuaders
Partner: Hermes
Kino's personality is usually very calm and collected. She has an inquisitive personality and always strives to understand new concepts and ideas; because of this, she is a very good listener. She isn't argumentative and makes it a point never to do overstep her bounds. One of the most remarkable aspects of her personality, in my opinion, is how aware she is of her surroundings. She always pushes the boundaries of logic and strives to understand her place in the universe.
Kino's weapons of choice are persuaders, which are essentially handguns. She has two throughout the series, and gains a third one by the end. She is very agile and skilled in combat, and she is often seen practicing drawing her persuader at night. She also carries many knives on her, including one that also functions as a gun. She enjoys fighting but not killing, although she is capable of it if it is needed.
Kino's character is beautiful and complex, and this section is just a brief overview of who she is. I wholeheartedly encourage you to read the rest of the site to find out more!
